Cindee Sapoznik is unique, setting the pace years ago as a “ground-breaking” representative within the pharmaceutical industry, becoming one of the first women in this field of endeavors. Setting this precedence was not by accident, rather, it was a cavalcade of proactive actions positioning her as a benchmark for whom her firm and the industry measured all others. Whether in product sales or as a leader within the nonprofit and humanitarian segments, her mission and goal is to make a difference. While others speak of similar goals, her commitment to raise the awareness of and provide resources and support for countless individuals victimized by human exploitation and human trafficking is marquee.
After an incredible career lasting more than 30 years with Novartis Pharmaceuticals, she retired in 2007 and turned much of her time to volunteering, which soon became a venture and a passion. Her volunteer experiences included: The Drake House, Every Woman Works, Wellspring Living, North Fulton Community Charity; Roswell United Methodist Church’s Job Networking Ministry, City of Refuge, along with local high schools. She became a partner in a boutique outplacement services firm, whose first project with the largest home healthcare provider in the nation. Cindee received her Life Coach Certification from Life Purpose Institute in 2013. As a life coach, she has an enduring passion for helping create a forward path for others. Additionally, she possesses a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Education from Emerson College, with a minor in Psychology.
Due to Ms. Cindee Sapoznik’s ability to apply inherent business strategies including the development of strategic relationships, and an ability to assemble a leadership team comprised of talented professionals and volunteers, she has successfully designed and launched an exceptional nonprofit, 2myPlace. The scope and reach of the mission of 2myPlace has grown exponentially in the last few years because of their focus on one’s individual strengths, self-esteem, and a clear path for the future, a message that remains a beacon under which Cindee guides others.
Cindee’s dedication to her creating immediate relationships with teenagers originates from the quote “be the person you needed most when you were growing up”, a quote referencing the need for and ability to change, a part of the healing process especially where there was hopelessness. Her focus on sex trafficking addresses measures of preparedness, prevention, and protection, working with teenagers to educate them and keep them safe. Based upon a vision to impact students, families, and organizations, more than 3,200 teens and young adults have taken our 2myPlace life skill classes/workshops. Her passion for addressing the challenges and perils that individuals face, the organization continues to expand its resources offering virtual training, group workshops, speaker panels, individual and family coaching, and the ability for those in need of support to connect for individualized and customized programs. Cindee continues her quest to educate, reduce effects and prevent sex trafficking, now as a member of Member of the Rotary Club.
In her spare time, Ms. Sapoznik sings in a Broadway Chorus and visits Assisted Living and Memory Care Centers. She finds her joy and peace a gift that must be shared with others…the mantra of a true service leader!
