Member Showcase - Carolina RamosAdd Guest
Carolina Ramos, originally from Alexandria, Virginia, and raised in El Salvador, discovered her passion for policy and politics at Old Dominion University. After graduating, she interned on Capitol Hill and worked on Stacey Abrams' 2018 gubernatorial campaign in Georgia. Inspired by this experience, she joined Representative Lucy McBath's district office, where she developed the constituent services program and advocated for immigrant and Latino communities.
Carolina later became Constituent Services Director, playing a key role in McBath’s re-election campaign. In 2021, Senator Ossoff hired her to lead the immigration and Latino portfolio, where she supported Spanish-speaking communities and assisted with the Afghanistan evacuation and ICE facility investigations. She then served as Director of Advocacy and Outreach at the Latin American Association, Georgia’s largest Latino serving organization.
Currently, Carolina is the Senior Policy and Partnership Manager at the Mayor's Office of International and Immigrant Affairs, continuing her advocacy for immigrant and international communities. Outside of work, she serves on various boards, including the Atlanta Jewish Council ACCESS Steering Committee and HOPE Atlanta’s Young Professional Board. She also organizes events like Oye Fest and enjoys live music, biking, and spending time with her cat, Gigi, alongside her partner, Ephraim, on Atlanta’s West Side.
